GL Test System was founded in 2005 as a spin-off of the Gesteinslabor Dr. Eberhard Jahns (www.gesteinslabor.de) and is since then well known as a reliable supplier for high-quality rock mechanical and rock physical testing devices. Our technology serves successfully the requirements for testing systems for the mining industry, tunnelling, oil and gas industry deep wells, geothermal deep drilling and underground waste disposal.

The focus of our activities is the development of challenging customised solutions, in particular for universities and other research institutes. An important quality element is the close cooperation with the affiliated test laboratory. This continuously guarantees the use and further development of our testing systems on a daily basis.

GL Test Systems is certified by the TÜV Thueringen for the design and manufacturing of pressure vessels (hydrostatic and triaxial) for internal pressures of up to 400 MPa (58,000 psi)
